Sinossi
Napoli, primi anni 2000. Grazia, ventiquattro anni, è una specializzanda in ematologia. Nelle ore libere dall'ospedale aiuta la madre Assunta a fare le pulizie nelle case della borghesia napoletana — un lavoro che tiene nascosto ai colleghi e al primario. Quando la signora Gargiulo, una delle donne per cui lavora, viene ricoverata nel suo reparto, i due mondi che Grazia ha tenuto separati si trovano improvvisamente nella stessa stanza. Tra lo sguardo della madre e quello del professor Spano, tra la lealtà familiare e l'ambizione professionale, Grazia affronta il passaggio doloroso verso una versione di sé che nessuno — nemmeno lei — aveva ancora visto.
Naples, early 2000s. Grazia, twenty-four, is a Haematology resident. In her hours off from the hospital she helps her mother Assunta clean the homes of the Neapolitan bourgeoisie — a job she keeps hidden from her colleagues and from the head of the department. When Mrs. Gargiulo, one of the women she works for, is admitted to her ward, the two worlds Grazia has kept apart suddenly find themselves in the same room. Between her mother's gaze and Professor Spano's, between family loyalty and professional ambition, Grazia faces the painful passage toward a version of herself that no one — not even she — had yet seen.
