Sinossi
This film is inspired by a true story that happened in Iran. The real person is Reyhaneh Jabbari, who killed a government agent who tried to rape her and was sentenced to death by the court. Civil and social activists in Iran and the European Union tried to prevent her execution because she committed the murder unintentionally and in self-defense, but in the end she was executed. Soheila, a thirty-year-old woman, commits unintentional murder in self-defense against rape. But she is sentenced to death in court. Her sister goes to the judge to save her. The judge tricks her and takes her to his private office. When the judge tries to rape her, he is met with resistance from the girl and in the struggle, the judge hits his head on the table and ceramic tiles and dies. The second sister is also arrested for murder, but the family of the murdered judge asks her to hide the judge's intention to rape her in her confession so that they can reduce her sentence, because the judge's family and her brother are state politicians. In prison, the two sisters protest and take other innocent prisoners with them, striving to realize their dream of freedom.
