ENG After World War II, while history licks the wounds of two world wars, another one is unleashed in Salento, which has the inhabitants of two villages, Supersano and Ruffano, as armies. In the background, the love between Giulio and Agnese and the friendship that unites them with another young couple, Giovanna and Antonio. Antonio was the first fan in the history of Italy to lose his life in a football match. --- ITANel secondo dopoguerra, mentre la storia si lecca le ferite di due guerre mondiali, in Salento se ne scatena un'altra, che ha per eserciti gli abitanti di due paesini, Supersano e Ruffano. A farla scoppiare desideri di potere, deliri di onnipotenza, follia e ... una partita di pallone. La rivalità tra le squadre di calcio del Supersano e del Ruffano fa da contorno alla rivalità tra due uomini. Ernesto, imprenditore agricolo e presidente della squadra di calcio di Supersano e Alfredo, generale in pensione del regime fascista e presidente del Ruffano Calcio. Sullo sfondo, l'amore tra Giulio e Agnese e l'amicizia che li unisce ad un'altra coppia di giovani, Giovanna e Antonio. Quest’ultimo fu il primo tifoso nella storia d’Italia a perdere la vita per una partita di pallone.
